Zoints

Is Zoints Tags worth installing?
If so, why.

I was thinking about trying it, but ended up not. The reason being - I really doubt my members would seriously use it. And if they don't properly tag every (or most) thread they start, it seems rather pointless. And I certainly don't have the time to go behind them editing the tags for everything.

I'm with Fire on this. I wouldn't bother. Also, I think that since Dave left Zoints it's not nearly as well supported as it was when he was running it.

From the other side of the table, I am a fan of Zoints Tags. I have a forum that is not yet two weeks old and a few of the tags are already starting to pop up on Google.

I figure the tags pages on my sites are like search engine all-you-can-eat buffets. :yes:

Is the zoint tags available for 3.6.8?

I have it installed, but i find it just a pain. I usually just type some word in there. So if i dont use it right i know my members dont.

I guess I will give it a try as well, at least it wont hurt the rankings.

I agree.... Several key people form zoints have either left or are now seem to be into other projects.
