Redoing Mod, and updated link will be added A.S.A.P!

BUG FIX: 08/30/07
Side Bar Templates didn't come with the Product.xml fixed that now. Please Re-Download this.

UPDATE: 08/30/07
I have added two extra features:

1. Side Bar Active
Do you want the side bar active? Yes No
If set to 'yes' then the Side Bar Will be displayed on the FORUMHOME, and if set to 'no' then the Side Bar will not be displayed.

2. Stretch Past What's Going On Box
Do you want the side bar to go beyond the What's Going On box? Yes No
If set to 'yes' then the Side Bar will stretch as far down as the footer, where as if its set to 'no' then it will only go as far as the 'What's Going On' box.

Adds a side bar down the left hand side of your Forum Home page. Everything is editable, from weather or not the side bar is displayed, to its length, the alignment of the text, its width, titles etc. All from the ACP. Read Me and product is included. 1 template edit required. Hope you enjoy!

This doesn't push over the WGO box?

No, coz a lot of forums have forums longer than the side bar, so i thought i would make it so it only pishs the forums over and leave the footer, WGO Box etc the same, to give it a neater design. And to be different from most other side bars.

Why do you not like it like that?

Nope, but that's just my preference. I always have alot to put in the side column so I need for my WGO box to be the same width as the forum :)

You did a good job tho, so don't worry about it.

Progress Report:
I have added two extra features, but are still in testing stage. Extra features are:
1. Is the side bar active? Yes / No. If set to yes the side bar will be displayed, if set to no then the side bar won't be displayed.
2. Stretch Past WGO Box? Yes / No. If set to yes the side box will display all the way past the WGO box, if set to no then it will stay within the forum borders.
These options do not conflict, the side bar must be active for anything to work.
Please tell me what you think.

[Update will be avaliable soon]

Thanks
Half Pint

I am thinking of downloading this when you release the new version, but I have a question: do the boxes support HTML and the vBulletin phrases without manually editing the templates? I tried the Ultimate Side Columns, and one thing that bothered me was it didn't support HTML or the vB phrases.

Thanks. :)

On the last version i had a custom content box, where you would enter HTML code and it would appear in the side bar, it did also work with vb phrases as long as you write them proply.
And yes i will be adding it into the newer version.

Hello, I am looking for a sidebar for all pages for navigation on my forum.. one that actually works...

The ones on vb.org dont work properly and have errors,

I am having great difficulty finding a sidebar that will work,

Ive thought of installing VBAdvanced, just so I can get a side bar, but even that is complex as it requires an "intergration" and the instructions are very unclear.

If you can make a left navigation sidebar that will work on all pages ,that would be wonderful:)

Maybe this is the option to go for at this rate. I'm sure Brian will help clear up any queries you might have along the way.
