Uploading a php file is done in FTP just like when you upload the vBulletin files.

Most hacks, the ones written correctly anyway, have the files in folder so that if you upload the contents of the "upload" folder to your forums folder on your website, the files go where needed.

nooo, he said upload the contents of the upload folder, not the upload folder.

Actually you'll be much better off asking about installation on the support forum for the hack in question. Each one has their own set of instructions, so there is no one "right" way to tell you how to install it.

If you rename the upload folder to the same as your forum folder (normally forum or forums), then you can upload the folder - just as long as it is a well organised mod.

Sweetie, he's talking about installing a mod, not vB :)

:foottap: Sweetie... :(

That works for mods too if you've got to FTP files. Same principle - just way less files :p
