They've all got different ideas about what their PTAs should be doing, and they play a lot of "telephone", where one tells someone something and it gets passed along to all the others. She keeps telling me about how this happens and by the time the info gets to her it's either screwed up or is something that she could've used LAST week. So... I created PTATalk.com. It's a place for people who are PTA members, either parents or students, to get together to discuss PTA related stuff. My wife is going to be the main admin for the site (it'll be her first time being the admin of anything) and I'll help out when necessary.
It's based on Peggy's "SchoolDayz" skin, I made some minor changes here and there and asked Peggy to change the header so it has my site name on it.
Check it out, let me know what you think of the concept and the site. If you think it's something you'd be interested in, join!

The concept is great. A site where PTA members can talk and bounce stuff off each other is bound to help spawn imaginative programs, events, fundraising ideas, etc.
I think your wife has a hit :)
One thing I would suggest is changing your adsense keywords for this site.
I saw ads for pregnancy detection, dating sites, etc. Need to target them a bit better, lol.

Yeah, we're gonna be doing that. My son's school's PTA has a newsletter, they offering advertising space in there. I'm gonna take out an ad. And some of my wife's friends are teachers, they're gonna put up a notice or two at their schools.
