Uploading for the first time - Question

This staement in the Manual says:

"tools.php - This file must be uploaded to the admincp folder and allows you to perform certain tasks should your board go down or you accidentally lock yourself out of the Admin Control Panel. This file must be deleted immediately after use or it will cause a SEVERE security problem."

The last sentence: does that mean to delete the file immediatley after uploading or after the first time I access tool.php?

Gary DO NOT upload the tools.php. That is only if you have a problem with your forum. It is there to fix certain problems only. You only need to upload it when you have to fix a problem. You then remove it after the problem is fixed. Leaving that on your site can cause a serious security problem.


Only upload what is in your upload folder and nothing from your do not upload folder.
