Its the quiet time of the year for the net. It'll get real busy before long.

It's 3am over here Dave, lol. I woke up and checked my email, but I'm headed back to bed. One thing about radiation, it's worn me out enough to sleep :yes:

can you elaborate? what is considered the slow and busy times and why?

There are alot of reasons. CPVR just pointed out one - many are just starting school and are busy, people are not spending money as much because they just spent alot on their kids and are preparing for christmas.

Cold weather is always a busier time for the internet. Half the country is home hiding from the cold. What better to do then climb ion the internet.

and summer is usually pretty slow because of vacations, warm weather draws people to the beach/pools/parks, etc.

I got laid off the tech writer job, back on the market looking again. Meanwhile I'm busy with activity for the Friends of the Scioto River.

Layoffs! Might become a rather often used word again given the chill economic winds floating around.

I have not been online much since I sold my site but I still help out with the admin duties of it and will be checking in now and then to say hi and ask/answer questions.

So around December ish is when the internet takes a huge hit?
