I am at the stage where I have the option of purchasing the owners license outright or get nicked about $80 bucks a year to lease. So far, I am thinking the $80 bucks a year deal seems to be best as it allows for some flexibility.

See above. You need to either purchase or lease a license from vBulletin, as without it you are not going to get any help from us. Sorry it has to be this way, but when we have spent money on our own licenses, we tend to turn a cold shoulder to individuals that are using pilfered copies.

vBulletin has payment options other than credit cards, so not having a card is no excuse.
