PC101 needs a dressing down...

Howdy!

I just don't know! Does it look good? Is it too crowded? Are there too many forum sections? Are the sections properly broken up? Is it colorful enough? Is it kinda blah? Ugh... I just don't' know anymore!

Is it me or is there anyone else out there who feels like they've stared at and tweaked at and manipulated their board SO much for so long that they're no longer sure their board is where it needs to be?! "BE" meaning... it's appealing to visitors... it's functional... user friendly...etc... etc...

Anyway... I really feel PC101 (http://www.pc101.com) needs a good dressing down... what do y'all think?

I'm thinking it needs a new skin... something more colorful but not crazy... some unique icons... in short... I went for simple and sleek and now I think I have boring and bland. Sigh!

Lemme hear it!

I like the header and the skin.
Enough posts in every forum.
vBSEO taking care of most of the on-site SEO issues.
Loads nice and fast, despite the sidecolumn on forumhome.
What's not to like.

My only criticism is I couldn't find a robots.txt file.

It looks nice to me.

One thing - change the blue backround -- its loading a little slower - just use a color not an image, you cant see it anyway.

Thanks for all your replies! :)

Ya know, I've never quite understood that thing... the robots.txt file. What's that going to do for me? Why do I need one? And, I guess most importantly... how do I create one?

search engines look for it. even if there is nothing in it.

just create a txt file called robots (robots.txt) and upload it to your root directory

Here (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7386) is a discussion about robots.txt and a suggestion on how one might look for a vB forum.
