You may just get owned by a Google Image search

http://www.conflictingviews.com/273-john-p.html This is the original thread. Check it out for all the happenings

This guy joined my forums March 1st and tried to tell us he was a 3 star general. He has horrible grammar skills and his Ip address shows him posting in South Dakota not the D.C. area he claims to be in.

So we played along to see how far he would take it.

Well last night he got a picture and put it as an avatar. I first went to marines.mil and looked through the Biography pages there and found nothing similar. Then a buddy did a Google image search and came up with this:

http://images.google.com/images?q=marines%20three%20star%20general&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&percentage_served=100&sa=N&tab=wi

Which led me to this:

After I confronted him I get this pm:

Ok, you figured out who I am. But please don't tell. I don't like releasing my name on the internet.
You trust me don't you Brent?
Plese say you do.

How stupid are people?

The thread continues to get better with him still trying to convience us he is who he says he is

His grammar is better in the above article than it is on your forum, LOL. Seriously tho, I think people just need to put him on ignore and move on. You'll never get himto admit he's a fake as long as he has the very legitimate excuse that he doesn't want to release his real name on the internet.
After I received 5 pm's from him last night, I put him on ignore. Enough already
