In the last two PR updates directories have taken some major hits in both PR and SERP, and now in this most resent update it seems that many other sites (like our forums) have also taken hits to at least PR.
While I do not pay much attention to most directories, I have noticed that a few of the deeper pages in DMOZ have dropped in rank, and in the case of the category my forum is listed in, it's gone from a PR4 to a PR0.
So I'm wondering if there is a connection to our PR drops and the huge hit that Google gave Directories in general.
I'm also wondering if there are ways we can counter this trickle down effect.
