AuctionAds down or out?

For the past 2 days every time I go to the AA site its been offline. Did they pull the plug? They aren't serving any ads nor is their site available. :throw:

I gave up and pulled the code from my Ohio site. Probably will from TbD as well.

It really is a shame, I always held out such high hopes for it too. Ironically my Adsense has declined over the past few months, and if I'm losing those clicks to AA the choice will be obvious.

I've been wondering myself too, plus I have not received a payment for November's earnings yet either. Has anyone gotten their November payment yet? I have over $700 earned and not paid yet...

When they told you that did you remind that that that they are losing publishers daily and that it only takes a few moments to update their own blog...something they have not bothered doing in months? (Not blaming you, just ranting)

Ok, so they killed the 'new' design ads, so I redid my code/header for medium rectangles, and now they are down completely again.

ARGH.

I really hope they can get straightened out soon.

ARGH. is right! I added those horrible looking things to a few of my pages (non-forum, and manually changed) because I figured they contrasted enough with anything I could do.

Now I gotta go back and change them all again? *sigh* If I'm changing them, AA ads will not be what is going in those spots...thats for darn sure!

Stats are back, and the blog is showing again... not updated mind you, but showing again.

They owe me about $115. I wrote them and got this pathetic answer on Dec 2:

At least they answered, but I am not optimistic about the future of this. I haven't been paid yet.

The site now says

I'll assume others got the Ebay e-mail today? Interesting. I did have some revenue show up on Auctionads from the 29th where earlier today there wasn't any, so that's promising.

What a steaming pile of #@#$% AA has become! If I could go virtually postal on someone I'd have those running AA in my cross hairs. They just go from bad to worse and all I ever hear is "we are working on that". REALLY!!!???? Who is working on it? The same people working on building the fence?! The same people who promised to not raise my taxes? Maybe its the kid across the street that promised he wouldn't practice his drum solos at 3am!

Almost Christmas and I still haven't been paid for the last cycle, ads are still appearing wrong, and they never reply to requests. If I thought it would do any good I'd probably start a blog of all the reasons NOT to sign up for Auction Ads.

I must be lucky, I did get paid at the beginning of this month, though on the 4th I believe. My ads were screwed up for several days, but finally corrected and have been good ever since.

Their site has been really sketchy, most of the time you can't login, but that's working now and revenue did update for the first week or so of the month, but nothing since and the clicks/views are messed up.

It's frustrating, but when they make us $15/day, it's hard to argue...as long as we get the money.

I think "sketchy" is an understatement. Looking at the reports they claim that on one day I had 3700 impressions but no clicks. Then on other days they show 0 impressions and dozens of clicks. Whats even stranger are the days where I had impressions but no clicks, yet made money. As an example, I had a day with 2400 impressions, 0 clicks, and made $0.74. Another day has zero impressions, 3 clicks, and a 50% CTR. Are they kidding me?! How can you have clicks without any impressions?

Either their system calculations are seriously flawed or they are just liars. At this point I'm swaying toward the latter of the two.

My revenue just updated actually. I was getting in to post my stats here because they follow the same pattern, and I show more $$$ than last time.

Looking at my #'s, it looks like sometime on the 9th they lost track of impressions but not clicks, then on the 13th the cumulative 'lost' impressions reported.

You know, I can handle the problems since we're averaging over $20/day this month so far.

As I posted before, CJ is having major reporting issues this month with eBay. eBay themselves sent me an email telling me not to expect accurate numbers this month. Since AA feeds off of CJ/eBay numbers, you have to expect their numbers to be wrong also. But you cant blame AA on this one.

Am I the only one getting errors on the main page? My ads seemingly are working fine, but I'd like to be able to log in to make sure I'm still not making anything.

I can get in just fine and am still earning $25+/day.

Yesterday they had some issues but that was only for a couple of hours.

Why do you still use them? I don't believe you've ever said a positive thing about them?

Im still earning well. I have more already this month then I had in adsense last month -

I tried at random times all morning & got an error every time (at least a half dozen times over several hours).

Strange that...

Though now it's seemingly working fine.

Although I know it's glitchy still I've been thinking of signing up for Auction Ads for a while and using the eBay mod with it but I can't even get the site to pull up to sign up ATM. :(

It's a great idea and if they can get it together and working right it would be absolutely perfect for my site since it's made up mostly of Online Auction folks from eBay (etc). :)
