I came across this today and thought it might make an interesting blog post. ABC news segment on the recent study where the short term memory of chimps and humans were tested and humans - lost..
The numbers are flashed briefly, and have to be recalled in numerical order. In each successive trial, the numbers are flashed for a briefer time. In this task, the performance of the humans worsened with each successive trial; the performance of this chimp remains consistent throughout. Watch the video. I know I couldnt beat the chimp. Do you think you could?
