I have a suggestion for a logo. How about floating the picture of the engine you have inside or over a silhouette of Texas?

that is a cool idea. we have an artist working on a new logo that pulls together several different elements of the fire service (the Maltese cross, axes, etc) and different 'Texas' elements (the State outline, barbed wire).

we liked that header with the engine for a little while, but now we want to move in a rather start different direction, if that makes sense.

is the forum too big ? meaning, is it too organized or too many thing ? we try to have it correlate to the site, but have several areas that just seem like they are never used....

I've been in the fire service for nearly 30 years, I'll take a closer look at your site in the next week and report back. With the holiday and some problems on my own site to take care of it will take a few days for me to look at your site closer.

I like your site. I think the color of red is a bit dull, based on the fire engine red color. Yet it all pulls together. I would take out the folder icon on the login and put in a fire truck or fire for fun, but thats me.

I've been the fire service for about 26 years and truly believe that you've created a jewel for Texas Fire Services!

Just a frog hair too much "Peach" color in the top /logo/banner, IMHO.

Drop all the local area forums (regional) into subforums, this way you have you click on "local area" to get to them. It would clean things up a bit, as you have to scroll down forever...

Other than that, not bad!
