The Earth is Flat I Guess

Every day, I spend a little time just serfing the web. I like to click links on blogrolls and other places just to see where I end up and what other kinds of websites are out there. I especially focus on looking at forums.
Today I found a perfect example of the "any forum topic can be successful" concept.

Yes, The Flat Earth Society. They debate the Earth being flat.They also have 13,000 members and more then 300,000 posts. All talking about the earth being FLAT.
It just goes to show, you can have a successful forum regardless of the topic, if you work hard enough at it.

Now I can see why the flash lite forums could be successful, but how do you get a whole forum around a false idea?

Didn't you know that there really are some people who do believe that the earth is flat?
