Revert Merged Threads

Hi,

I hope this is the right section to post.

I´m moderator of a forum and by accident I just merged two threads (by second time).

But this one its worst, both threads have near 1600 replies.

My other moderator partner is trying to revert the situation by moving the posts manually.

Is there any way to do that automatically?

Maybe with some superadmin rights?

Thanks.

I'd say if it's crazy important you can restore the site to the last mysql backup, but it sounds like you have a very busy site and would not want to lose todays posts?

Thanks for your answer.

Yes, site have more than 15k users and lot of post per day.

Last week an important thread was deleted by accident by my partner and we decide to not recover it.

It should be a good idea to have something like "recycle bin" for vB.
Or maybe there is one solution like that and I don't know about. If there is something I could talk with superadmin to install it.

We are moving threads by hand

vB 3.7 may have improved functionality for this. I haven't had to try it out yet, but it is tracking edits.

You should be able to pick up the trail to the feature changes list from the vBulletin 3.7 release thread (http://www.vbulletin-faq.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11391) here.
