forum fit to screen??

can some one tell me how the hell i get my forum to fit to screen, i have tried opening it on different pc's with different screen resolutions, but doesn't make a difference it's doing my head in, i keep having to scroll horizontally all the time??

It5 depends on the forums' style. Is it fixed or fluid? A fluid style with expand with each monitor res. A fixed-width style won't.

However, no vB forum will fill the entire screen. It's not coded to do that.

You look like you have a Fluid skin and it is expanding to fill the screen just right. And when I shrink my browser window, it scales down appropriately.

The only time I noticed a problem where you have horizontal scrolling issues, is where there is a picture that's wider than the screen or browser window.

Otherwise, everything looks like it should to me.

Even your portal page fits the screen nicely. I'm running 1024 x 768 resolution, btw.

Thanks everyone for your quick reply's, i just wanted the forum to be like here lol everything fits to screen and no need to scroll the forum down to fit( thus making the font harder to read) looks like im stuck with it like that, im glad you mentioned the portal, only installed it yesterday hehehehe im also using 1024 by 768, but to be honest ive tried several diffrent monitors and pc resolutions none sem to work i just thought there may be a way in changing the resolution o the actual template?

Maybe you could post a screenshot of where you are seeing the problem. Because like I mentioned, it looked good to me when I checked it out.

as you can see the right hand side of my forum is miising from screen and requires me to scroll along to se it, this is the same in posts as well, some members have asked how to sort this, and i dont actully know,but im sure it wasn't always like that?? but it been like that a while so cant remember if anything caused it?

Actually i remember it defenetly wasn't alway like that if u look to the right of my header picture you will see a big black square space, that header picture used to be center perfectly, for some reason i am thinking this is linked to my navbar, don't know why??

I have managed to sort it, turns out i had to many links in my navbar:o
