Making skin with photoshop?

Hello to everyone,

I have heard that it is possible to make a skin with photoshop? I was wondering id anyone has done this and if so, how do you get the forums actually on a psd file?

most of the time, you make a template >image<

so you make just a picture of what you want it to look like. Then if your a coder you slice it up and code it OR you hire someone to take your image and slice it up for you.

i know a guy that will take a psd/image and code it into a skin for about $100

Steve had the design made by a guy who was good with photoshop and BlindChild coded it.....im pretty sure...

for the most part, yes i did.

i have had a little help on some wierd bugs and stuff. but the mod installs, the graphics, etc....all me :)

vb.org is crazy. i won December BOTM, and he never announced it.

If I may ask, what did you use to make your header work? Is it a psd file and you sliced with for links?

no i didnt make that template from scratch. i bought it from vbskinworks. then i customized it myself.

you can view source on my site to see the coding. i am a cut and paste/trial and error coder. not that good at coding at all.

It looks great to me
