Not sure what's going on.. may need a new host..

Hi..

My online auction/small business board seems to be experiencing intermittent slowness, hanging, redirects going missing, posts being reformatted, etc. The last 2 times this type of thing occurred I was told I had to upgrade so I did.. most recently was around a month ago (I think). Also, not sure if this is pertinent but, the most recent problems seemed to start when they told me they had been hit with a ddos attack after I wrote about problems. I've reported the problem to the host since then and after a bit of back and forth they wrote me back saying that they had done something and it should be fine. The problem is that it isn't and I haven't gotten a reply from them (it's been over a week now and although I liked the CS at first I've grown less happy lately. :()

Anyway, if I'm understanding some of what I'm reading correctly, while researching potentially moving to a new host, I'm really puzzled as to why we're using so much RAM and why we keep having trouble when it seems like other boards that are supposedly bigger use less and don't seem to have the issues. :confused:

If you don't mind taking a look at the info below (sorry if it's TMI :o) I'd truly appreciate the help. I'm still pretty new to running vB and am trying to learn but feeling more then a bit overwhelmed when I run searches to try and find answers and figure out what I need and need to do. Although I would like to grow in membership, upgrade when 3.7 goes live and add more features I don't dare try until this is straightened out.
