I'm sure it's not worth the trouble, but how would someone put a value on a site? And then how would someone find a buyer?
The site in question has been around over 5 years and has over 1 million post with a very active, yet small membership (1500)....Makes a decent amount of money thru ads and subscriptions.....

Whats the site?
The general rule of thumb is 10 months earnings is the value. But thats just a guideline.

Ya know...
If you don't mind paying the bills and collecting your earnings, you could likely just pass on the responsibilities.
Most mods work for free, as do many admin. Maybe promote from within, and just take an extended break from things. Just keep your email handy in case there are any troubles.
If you've like it for 5 years, maybe you just need a break. I would hate to think you selling it today would mean you lost it a month from now if you wanted it back. So maybe just take a breather...
