Hello,

What's the deal with the new privacy page requirement?

Is there a generic template available that can be tweaked with your domain name?

Ad Servers:
To try and bring you offers that are of interest to you, we have relationships with other companies that we allow to place ads on our web pages. As a result of your visit to our site, ad server companies may collect information such as your domain type, your IP address, and clickstream information. For further information, consult the privacy policies of:

I would like to make a few notes to the above post....

1st: The above is close to the policy of Youtub (http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy)e, which would likely be following the rule already...

2nd: If you have other ad networks running, it would likely be best to list those as well... just in case.

3rd: Check out the link above and get a complete privacy policy... if yours just has the ad network thing on it, it'll look funny/strange.

You likely don't need ALL the information there. Use it as a base, or maybe just look at related sites that have a policy already in effect and work between the two to make your own (I did that).

You can use the DMA page word for word though, so that's nice & easy...
