Logo ideas for sales and marketing forum.

Hey guys I'm looking for a little creative input if I may.

I've been working with a couple of designers trying to come up with a logo for our sales and marketing / sales training forum [Identity crisis :)] and haven't had much success.

The problem, as I see it, is coming up with an image/icon that is representative of the forum theme(s).

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm all ears and I don't criticize feedback [very often :)]

I'm thinking an image with two people lower left. One is presenting the other a chart for review or a book. The training. Then running up to the top right, a sales graph that increases upward across the image. Both water markked over the other with the appropreate background coloring.
