Time to change

Hey guys,

Its time to change the design of vB-faq as i see now lot of registration is taking place and the activities is picking up, so i beleive its time to change the style - all i have in mind is vB-faq must lead vB forum admins in all aspects whether it is on tech aspect or design wise of using vB...

First i suggest to hire the topnotch vB designer to make an wonderfull skin ( Not me:p) someone like blindfate or ajmal...

Second think of something thats no admin resources forums have not done and implement it...

Third hmmm... i will update when new ideas storm my small brain ( usually happens very rare ) :rolleyes:

I suggest this in care of this wonderful forum and its future...

Why change the design? I think this looks top-notch, John (theMusicMan) did an excellent job, altho there are still a few little tweaks that I'd like to see done, and could do if they'd let me ;)

Nothing wrong with the current style but i like for vB-faq to have a lead vB design as example...

I think we present a better example if we stay as close to vB stock and exploit it's features to their fullest extent, showing the actual power of vB with as little third party intervention as possible.

However, the argument could go both ways I guess.

i love the style here actually - plain and classy, and no fancy stuff to distract from the content. on a support site like this, i think it's better for the content to be the main feature rather than the decoration, so to speak.

but that's just me. :)

Err -- well, I truly like the current style. I wanted it it simple and professional, which is what I believe we have.

As far as adding new resources, just need some ideas. Looking forward to any you might have.

The layout is great, IMO. Anything but the vB default is good enough for me anyhow. :)

Maybe add more smilies though, I love 'em :D

I like the style because it loads fast with dial-up.

As long as the current skin stays available, i'll be happy as I love it. I'm very picky about skins and this one works for me.

Yeah, and if you had, had, had to, maybe just change maroon to navy or dark green, maybe even black. And then have a choice of skins, but still I like this one as I said.
