To celebrate our anniversary, we will be giving the winner of this month's contest $50 in shopping money to go to the vB Fan Shop (http://www.cafepress.com/vbulletinshop)and pick out a couple of nice goodies for winning the contest in July.

I doubt we'll win (despite what the poll there says) But its a good contest and I would like to see as much participation as possible.

Like I said - I doubt we'll win. I cant explain now, but I dont expect to win. Regardless, its a great contest that offers board owners a little reward for their hard work.

Yes and let the boards involved promote the hell out of it. Just ask that in their request for votes, they ask their members to look at the other contestant sites.

Even if we get 20% of the people that the board owners get moving clicking to tlook at sights, we'll be driving mad traffic to these sites! Everyone on wins no matter what!

Yeah, that's the ticket! My wife, Morgan Fairchild, gave me the idea. Yeah.

Trouble is, we have no use for members from non webmaster forums. So we would get members from a car forum, for example, registering, voting, and leaving, never to return.

I knew you would say that. But like I said, this is about 20% of the traffic, no the poll. We make it public and let them have a field day. We can manage it a bit, I dunno. It's about the webmasters that have influence over their members asking for a favor, check out the competitors.

OK, maybe I need to think about this. I dunno. But lets make something happen! Peggy will code it!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..

I say we put the poll in its own forum, make that forum only, accessible to guests, let 'em vote and have a good time!

That would make it easy to cause unfair voting - anyone with a proxy or AOL even could vote numerous times for their board.

oh well... I thought it was a good idea

you should run your own "favorite Vbulletin forum" here as well. but perhaps make them more specific (design, format or topic - gaming, information, computing, family or whatever).

its relevant to the contests are popular. :) just a thought

How could they do that if you set it so that they can vote only once?

Joeychgo

Because, It wont know they only voted once if they didnt register.

I think there should be two contests

1. Best looking vB board
2. Best vBulletin or vBulletin Related websites
