What I need is a banner that can be the header for a website and also be the logo over the pocket of a tee shirt. I'm thinking 4 to 6 colors. Red, yellow, orange, black perhaps. It's biker stuff, flames and the like are always cool. Motorcycle images and eagle images and Maltese crosses work too.

Take the initial dimensions you use into consideration when planning or choosing them for a website header and over pocket silk screened shirt logo. Images that can be reduced to buttons or cropped to meaningful buttons are a plus.

Here are two posters that show the type text effects I'm hoping for. http://www.riderinfo.com/leesburg-bikefest/ These posters overall however are a bit more then I expect, they are examples for the text. But they give a good idea of the type of artwork that is used to advertise to bikers. Bikers seem to like this guy's style too, Dave Mann. http://home.att.net/~knucklehead-47/dmann.htm But again, these are examples and way too much for this job and need. I hoping they can help get the idea across though. Bikers and Motorcyclists.

The text that MUST be used is: Ocala Bikefest
Option Text: Florida, Motorcycle Rally

The point is to have people see it on a shirt or a website and know it like it's an old friend and what it means.

I will likely post this announcement in more then one place. I can pay via Paypal or secure CC gateway.

The deadline is, well, let's just say I got this job way too late, so ASAP. I'll post if I get someone I can work with to end it, when and if that comes to pass.

EDIT: I have 4 inches by 4 inches to work with approximately. That's 288x288 it seems in pixels. I want to stay near that as we don't want the header for the website too tall.

Um, you specified dimensions of 234 x 60 to me. So that might be important to mention here ;)

Um, you specified dimensions of 120 x 60 to me. So that might be important to mention here ;)

And you made it clear that was too small. I've based the new dimensions on that conversation.

I updated my post just before you posted to include suggested starting dimensions. Thanks for the heads up.

Then get to work.

I guess you could go wider for the website header. But, the image needs to be able to be cropped on one side to get the text for a pocket logo.

The Biggest part of it is that it says "Ocala Bikefest" and that that part can be put on a shirt and will be set in stone as our basic logo.

So you want a logo or an actual banner?

The dead line for this is past. I worked with one guy, but in the end, he could not supply an image that the shirt printer could use in vertor graphics.
