I wasn't sure where to post this, but I thought it was important.
vbportal.org (http://www.vbportal.org/)has been having some problems lately getting hacked, and they have once again been hacked.
Apparently the hackers might be able to obtain sensitive info such as passwords, so just a heads up if you have an account there, you might want to change any passwords you have in common with that account.

Why would you think a hacker could get access to passwords? Passwords in vBulletin are encrypted. If your just making the assumption that the hacker has access to passwords, its an inaccurate assumption.

The hackers note said it was a hack they hacked. I forget which one.

Oh well.
Nice to see vBulletin supports hacks now though. I'm sure the folks at vb.org will be asking Scott for help on a regular basis now.
vB should test every hack, as they did this hack and make sure they work. That would be a great service. Especially for the paid hack.

Upon further review of the time line of incidents, this is hack number two.
The first one sent an email last week.
Then the owners posted that they fixed the code bugs with help from scott MacVicar.
This is hack number two today. They must have missed a hole or the hackers left behind a backdoor.
Either way, this can't be a fun thing to deal with.

They are not the same owners and same software? I didn't notice the different TLDs.

Just passing along what was reported from vbportal. I'm not assuming anything.
