DaniWeb vBulletin SEO Hack

For anyone still running 3.0.x Dani has a super easy hack for making URLs more SE friendly via mod_rewrite.

You can find the hack here: http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/thread35147.html

BTW, I personally prefer the "archive" function of 3.0.x over this and other "SEO" hacks but wanted to let everyone know in case they felt otherwise.

It's good to see free versions of the SEO URL hacks available for those that want to use them.

I think there is another thread about this already that may have started taking about the pros and cons of mod rewrite.

Dani is a friend of mine, and I moderate on daniweb. While there aren't sections specifically devoted to vBulletin there, I know there is a strong focus on SEO issues.
