This may be an easy one... I'm not sure.

Basically I have a forum with the default sytle on forum section headings... like the ones here...

What I would like is to add the "forum" and "last post" bar to each forum heading like this... and possibly change the text shown.

I hope this is an easy thing to do in Templates... but I don't know the name of that bar, nor how I would add it below each forum division.

Thanks for your thoughts,

Fuego

Turn "Act as Forum " to Off - I think that wil do what you want.

Actually... that makes the "forum" into a heading... which is what I want... but I want the tags under each heading as well.

You see in the forums here... where each seperate section doesn't have "forum" and "last post" headings under it... that's what I'm trying to get.

I hope I'm explaining it better... hehe... I don't know the correct terms for each part of the display.

LOL... you explain almost as badly as I do, lol

don't take offense please... I'm the world's WORST at explaining things. I know what I want, I just have a hard time explaining it.

None taken... I know I'm bad at it... haha!!
That's why I tried to show pictures... so you can see that "forum" and "last post" aren't under each section here at vb-faq... like they aren't at my board.
And so I showed a forum that does have them... i'm hoping it's becoming more clear.

I edited the pic on top to show more how the headings don't have "forum" and "last post" under each section... maybe it's more clear now?

I think there's a hack over on vB.org and vB.com that does what you are after. Have a search over there... I can't remember what it is called but I am certain I have seen it.
