Emad Tadros 08-10-2006, 12:37 AM Hello Miner, I'm a new member here, also I'm very new BB owner :) The blue toast skin is very very beautiful skin, and I choosed it to be the default skin for my new BB, specially because it's the best one ever that fit my BB idea. However, the default language on my BB is Arabic, which is a right to left language. The skin looks very good on the English interface, but on the Arabic interface, it looks like that: http://forum.ibnmasry.com/Header.JPG how can I prepare that ??? I'm sorry but I don't have experience about those stuff Emad miner 08-10-2006, 12:43 AM hmmm... My goodness don't feel stupid! We've all been new to vB at one time ;) Here are some instructions for you. download the zip file to your computer and unpack (I put the files on my desktop for easy finding). Upload the bluetoast folder to your forum/images/styles folder via ftp. (NOTE: your images folder won't have a styles folder, you'll have to create one). Once you get that done, go to your vB's Admin control panel, look for Styles and Templates, download/upload styles. Click on that. On the next page, in the Import Style XML File box, click on browse, find the xml file on your computer, double click on it, then click on Import. That's it. You should now have the skin installed! If you have anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask. katim110 12-28-2006, 08:12 AM Thank you , peggy I did what you told me, but now i get the message: the file was created using a different of VB form the one you are running: your version 3.6.4 file version 3.6.0 what should I do? thank you katim110 12-28-2006, 10:05 AM its already done :) Ignore Style Version Use style file even if it was created by a different version of vBulletin? thank you btw: i want to set the dutch language file for VB, well the theme still work fine ? Peggy 12-28-2006, 10:33 AM sorry I had to run some errands. Yes the style will still work, no matter what language you have set. But I'm sure you know that the buttons and images will still have the english language on them. katim110 12-29-2006, 05:39 AM Everything works fine for me now. There is just one little thing :) I want to delete the default style, caus everytime when a guest visit the forum he/she get the default style. so the question is: how can I set the new style als my default style for everyone include the administrator, so that the admin and visitors won't get the default style of VB Thank you I hope you understand my english greetings from holland Peggy 12-29-2006, 07:40 AM Your english is fine darlin'! Go into your admin CP > vBulletin Options > Style & Language Settings Where you see Default Style, choose your new style, and save! | |
