Ok I am going to install vbplaza, but on vB.org it says this:

1) Upload all of the files/folders in the UPLOAD folder to your forum's root folder.


How would I do that, what would my forums rootfolder be? does that mean like the main FTP page?

Thanks, I thought that I had to do that, thats what I meant by the main ftp folder.. and i uploaded before hand into there. Thanks for the confirmation.


Ok I am know on the next step of uploading the .xml folder I get this error while uploading "product-vbbuxplaza.xml":

Thats what I done, and thats when I got the error. Can I give you my ftp details to see if I uploaded the "upload folder" correctly. Am I suposed to open the "upload folder" or some thing and put the files inside the forum folders, like admincp, modcp...installler..... etc..

Sounds like you missed a file you need to upload. - functions_vbplaza.php, which goes in the includes directory.

The instructions in the arcade folder are pretty straighforward, but you have to read them very carefully. I'll try to help you here then, step by step.

In the UPLOAD folder are 3 other folders, correct? admincp, includes, arcade and then the arcade.php file.

ok, just like the directions say...

1) upload the folder marked 'arcade' to the forum folder (or whatever you have named the folder where your board and stuff are).

2) also upload that arcade.php separately into the forum folder

3) Now, everything that is inside your admincp folder goes into the existing admincp folder

4) inside of your includes folder is another folder "XML". Open it. You'll see 3 XML's there. ALL three of those get uploaded into your existing includes/xml folder

5) now you must CHMOD the arcade folder and all of its subfolders to 0777. (I use smart FTP. All you have to do is right click on the arcade folder, go down to properties/chmod, click, and then type 0777 where it says Permissions)


NOW, follow the remaining instructions for uploading the ibpro product xml:

Go to admincp, click on Plugin System
Click Manage Products
Click [Add/Import Product]
Enter the path to the Product-XML-File: ./includes/xml/product-ibproarcade.xml and click IMPORT
Confirm the Import of that Product
Ready - the Hack is installed !

Now follow the remaining instructions for template edits.

Umm, I don't have ibproarcade installed, I want to get vbPlaza installed, I tried to delete the uShop hack, and I think I done it, anyways I am getting the v3arcade, but some one is coming in to install that for me tomorrow. Its just this modification he wont install, its some thing against his religion or the other with the lottery being in the actual shop.

You'll be missing alot of cool features with the v3 arcade but oh well.
As for vBux, that's even easier.

Just open the upload folder and do what the instructions say:

Then go to your Admin CP -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product, and upload the product-vbbuxplaza.xml. Click Import.

Anyways in vbPlaza where do I set usergroup permissions to access the actual store?
