I see these forums have it
I want members to be able to show their latest blog post in the postbit which is constantly updating
I seen a mod for vb 3.5.x using magpie rss but nothing has been mentioned for 3.6
plus i seen a load of problems people were having
what do you guys use? i see it here on vbfaq

It was coded by the "rude guy" himself, noppid. Don't know if it is released somewhere, like here or in cpurigs or vb.org. Maybe it's an exclusive ;)

I've never read that hack, but I know there's always more then one way to skin a cat.
I will say this, I have read a hack for this purpose and it looked like it would be real hard on a forum/server the way it was coded. Hack means just that in some cases. Choose wisely.

can you tell more why would be hard ? ... It is stored in cache afterall ... it is not picking feed everytime page is loaded ?

I didn't mean to cause confusion, I have not read this one. I read one in the past and it didn't cache.
Caching is good and if this one uses caching, great news. That's whatcha want.
