Why does this ad keep showing up?

I can visit any of the Home Theater Area forum displays at our forum and see adsense ads that relate to home theater or the forum title. However, when I go into the Home Theater (http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/home-theater/) titled forum display I get this vbulletin ad every single time and it has nothing to do with home theater. I realize I can block it, but most likely it's gonna replace it with some similar ad.

Here's the ad:

I can't understand why this one forum display would do this... doesn't make sense.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Not sure - but, you can block them in your competitive ad filter...

I kept refreshing until I finally got another ad.... and indication of what I would get if I blocked the vbulletin ad...

Notice I also placed a page break between the title and description in the RR coding of vBSEO.

Remove the word FORUM as much as you can - that should take care of it.

Edit the headerinclude template and get rid of this tag...

<meta name="generator" content="vBulletin 3.6.0" />

Here are my first two lines of headerinclude...

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=$stylevar[charset]" />
<meta name="generator" content="vBulletin $vboptions[templateversion]" />

Should I remove the second line only?

yes, only the second one and that will do what I suggested.

Btw... I got "forum" out of there and place the VBSEO RR's above the ads and took care of the at meta tag too.... it's pulling in home theater ads now.

Thanks guys

Most vBulletin forums will get forum and/or vbulletin AdSense ads. Another reason to hate "context-sensitive" advertising.

I'm getting zero right now.... the changes I made seems to have improved my Adsense ads a good bit... more related than before.
