Navbarsemann 08-25-2006, 02:33 PM How so i make the navbar appaer as images? semann 08-25-2006, 05:14 PM i mean like miners styles, the navbar is turned into images... i know i have to edot the navbar template, but how? Peggy 08-25-2006, 05:48 PM I do believe that miner constructs the navbar, on most of his images, in the header template. But I don't know how. He'll have to answer this for you Elsie 08-26-2006, 01:00 AM is the navbar a table? (can't picture the template...) if so, wouldn't it be something like inserting images into the cells? minstrel 08-26-2006, 04:02 PM It should be just a matter of editing the navbar style from your Admin CP and in place of the anchor TEXT for the link add in the URL to the IMAGE you've selected (and of course uploaded to your site). In vB 3.6, click on Style Manager | Edit templates | Navigation/Breadcrumb templates | navbar. Then edit navbar. Then, for example, change:
$vbphrase[faq]
to something like

I'm brain dead this evening so that's not guaranteed to be more than an approximation but play with it. semann 08-26-2006, 06:23 PM ok im gonna try and inform noppid 08-27-2006, 12:35 AM Minstrel's example looks sound to me for the clickable links. The drop downs require edits in two places and unique ids for the new additions IIRC. | |
