I seem now to have the header missing Joey... I think it needs a header!!!

I like the double column layout you have as opposed to the three column layout. I also like the way you have removed the borders from around the Latest News module bits - that's nice. I think the way you have it looking now is an improvement on before. Not too sure you need the seperate VBW module/banner now though.

Trying for a cleaner, more custom look.

I pulled the header and navbar because I didnt want the same header as the forums, I wanted something that would be a little better for SEO -

I also stripped the garbage from the latest news - like 'posted by' and the dates - that should help improve KW density -
