Minimum post requirements for signatures?ResaleBroker 01-10-2005, 04:45 PM Does anyone know how to restrict signatures and live links until after a user has made x number of posts? Joeychgo 01-10-2005, 06:29 PM The way I do it is to have 2 user groups - the first is for registered members, the second is for established members (call it what you wish) - the established member's usergroup has sig privaleges, the registerd does not. Now -- go to Usergroups > Promotions and set up a promotion that suits your needs. http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/images/permissions/promotions_main.png that takes care of sigs -- im not sure about live links - I havent tried that one yet but I think that would ResaleBroker 01-10-2005, 08:24 PM That's the ticket. Thank You! Joeychgo 01-10-2005, 08:26 PM your welcome. Tell your friends about us. :D ResaleBroker 01-10-2005, 08:27 PM I have friends? Where? Joeychgo 01-10-2005, 08:44 PM Somewhere - I heard a rumor GuyFromChicago 01-11-2005, 07:40 AM that takes care of sigs -- im not sure about live links - I havent tried that one yet but I think that would Let me know what you figure out regarding live links...I've looked and haven't been able to figure out how to incorporate live liinking abilities in the promotion setup. walleye 01-07-2007, 01:53 PM Nice, this worked perfect for me and was exactly what I was looking for.
