The header that's up isn't the final product, and none of the buttons/icons are done, either. So I guess you can't really comment on the design.

I'm not a fan of dark styles, either. I kinda like blue. Look at all my sites, they're mostly blue. ;-)

But for this site, it HAS to be dark. Heavy Metal is all about darkness, so nothing else would do!

It looks good. :) Im not all that old ya know. My first concert was Judas Priest, warm up bands were Iron Maiden and the Axe..

Thanks... Any suggestions as to what color other than blue? What about matching it to the red color in the adsense block on top?

Actually... it was that red color, I'm not sure how to turned blue.

Yes - I would say the red colour would be far better IMO. Try out a few and see what works for you.

I thought the dark grey instead of black was a big help. But I'm not in that scene so can't really say. I dig the banner complete with skull and animated red glowing eyes!
