Premium Membership Features

Is anyone here offering any sort of premium (paid) memberships at your forum?

If so, what perks do you provide to members who pay?

I am - I have a gold membership. Here is the program.

I have a "Supporting Member" status on my board.

People who support get access to the "Taboo Lounge". In there they are allowed to post things that I would rather not have on the main forum. Such as porn, drug discussion, and other strange oddities.

I also have another section on the board called the "EM" section (I have no idea what "EM" means. It's something that my Admin named) that is password protected and only visible to supporting members. In that section, members can "Share" things.

But in all fairness, I have set up many members for free. I'm not really looking to make money off the site........yet. ;)

What do you charge for Supporting Members?

$20 for a year membership. But my site is small enough right now, so I'm not keeping tabs on any of the supporting memberships.

I've had a handfull of members send in money to help keep the site running. Most of the regular members (the everyday) are pretty loyal to the site.

We offer "Elite Explorer" memberships. In 5 years or so we have picked up about 450 paying members. They trickle in every month. http://www.explorer4x4.com/elite.html
