Dear Publisher,
Since we launched the Yahoo! Publisher Network beta program in August 2005, it has been tremendously gratifying to see the network grow from just a handful of publishers to the many thousands now in our network. We are very excited to see the program progress this far, and publishers like you have played a major role in getting us off the ground. For that, we thank you.

As our product matures we plan to launch enhancements and roll out additional features during the beta period. As we progress down this path, we determined that we needed a completely new way of talking with our publishers… a pipeline in which information and ideas could move in both directions between you and us. We considered the impact that the Yahoo! Search blog (http://publish.publisher.yahoo.com/rspac/r2.php?b=8&740064/19220552/740076/O/http%3A%2F%2Fysearchblog.com%2F) and Jeremy Zawodny’s often Yahoo!-centric blog (http://publish.publisher.yahoo.com/rspac/r2.php?b=8&740064/19220552/740077/O/http%3A%2F%2Fjeremy.zawodny.com%2Fblog%2F) have had on this industry, and decided that it was time for the Yahoo! Publisher Network to jump into the blogosphere, as well.

Thus, it gives us great pleasure to announce the launch of the Yahoo! Publisher Network blog (http://publish.publisher.yahoo.com/rspac/r2.php?b=8&740064/19220552/740078/O/http%3A%2F%2Fypnblog.com%2F). This blog is intended to be the Yahoo! Publisher Network resource for publishers, by publishers. In it, you’ll find not only what you might expect from a product-focused industry blog—the latest on issues, new releases, and tips—but also in-depth how-to’s, publisher interviews, industry trends, links to articles and other news and information you can use. You will also, we think, find a community that will help you to learn how to be a more successful and profitable publisher.

We invite you to visit the Yahoo! Publisher Network blog (http://publish.publisher.yahoo.com/rspac/r2.php?b=8&740064/19220552/740078/O/http%3A%2F%2Fypnblog.com%2F) frequently, or better yet, to add it to your My Yahoo! page or to your RSS feeds (http://publish.publisher.yahoo.com/rspac/r2.php?b=8&740064/19220552/740079/O/http%3A%2F%2Fdeveloper.yahoo.com%2Frss%2Findex.htm l) to get up-to-date information for and about publishers just like you. And please keep in mind that we intend the Yahoo! Publisher Network blog (http://publish.publisher.yahoo.com/rspac/r2.php?b=8&740064/19220552/740078/O/http%3A%2F%2Fypnblog.com%2F) to be a two-way street: We want you to engage with us to shape the current and future products and services that we deliver.

Please take a look around the new blog at your leisure, and let us know what you think. Just as with the beta program itself, the blog will grow and mature, and we hope to receive a lot of suggestions and comments that will help us make it even more useful to the community.

Sincerely,
