Hello:

I am having trouble with my business. I have a website with all of my information, galleries of what I do, pictures of customer's work and all the stuff a site needs to be functional. I am getting hits and all, but no one contacts me at all from the site or anything. I feel like its a portfolio site, but I would like for it to be the whole deal. Such as people contacting me for more info. or ordering questions. I don't know whats wrong with it.

View the site at: http://www.jerzgraphics.com

Thanks guys..

When your building webpages, Sell your products, not your site. Forget all the flash and fancy art. Good basic graphics and informative text.

Then you need to be on forums like this one, doing just what your doing. In a few months, you'll be buried in business.

Flash Intro's will get folks to click the back button long before they see an enter button. I don't want my speakers blasting that sound at me either.

I didn't click back because I wanted to play it out, but trust me, as soon as the flash started, my mouse went instintively to the back button.

The next page makes me think you are running a tattoo flash biz or tattoo shop. I don't care what you or your desk look like. I'm there to see your product. It took too much effort to read and sort out what exactly you are selling. Just because you are a sole proprieter, don't be so fast to disclose that. You are a big successful internet and brick mortor biz. The pic of that lone desk looks like a garage biz.

The "finally Light at the end of the tunnel" means nothing to me. As I said, not enough product in that light. ;)

The past clients list is a great idea and in nice size text. Looks good and should attaract attention.

The text for navagation on the left is too small and the contrast is poor. The header is difficult to read with the fancy mixed fonts.

Personally I don't care for narrow web pages. The news in the middle looks small in 1024x768 and so does the text. Nothing jumps out at you and gets your attention, you have to focus and read. That's too much effort. A prospective customer should click impulsively, not having to digest information. They should see large examples of the products that you sell that they are looking for that they instintively click on with no thought involved.

You need a biography of your business success and what your products are, how great and comptetively priced they are and why so and so buys from you and why I should.

Only trying to be helpful. No ill intent meant.

I had just last week researched his industry and purchased custom made silk screened shirts for riderinfo.com. So I kinda felt like I was in familiar territory as a client, salesman, and webmaster.

I hope some of the things that we have commented on can be helpful to his success. He has a good client list which usually means a good product.

Let's see the product, not the hype.

I remember a study that indicated users think the most irritating website elements are pop ups, music and flash intros.
