I am having a problem with "views", the views to a thread don't seem to be updating, the replies is working okay. I can see people viewing the posts but it is not reflected in the views column.
Anyone know how I can fix it  .

Hmmm.. what exactly do you mean re 'views'...? Are you trying to edit a thread and that's not showing? or just edit the title of a thread?
Can you elaborate please.

Thanks for responding so quickly....In the threads where you see the title of the post such as this thread, on the right hand side there is,
Last Post .... Replies ..... Views..... Forum.
My problem is the views or number of views isn't updating when someone views the post.
I just want the number to update when someone views the post, or else it looks like no one has read the post.

Hi Cyclops
There is a setting in vB that allows you to update immediately or once an hour. Can you check this for me please..
AdminCP > vB Options > Server Settings and Optimization Options > Update Thread Views Immediately > Yes/No
It might be due to this. Your counters are being updated as there are numbers in there, but it doesn't look as though this is done immediately.

Okay.....changed that to yes and tested it but still doesn't seem to be working. Will check it again in a few hours.
Some threads the counter shows many views and in some threads it only shows a couple of views but from looking in the active users window I know some of these threads have been viewed many many more times than the counters show.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty sure it is working now, if it isn't it is only in the new Forums I added in the past few days and I should be able to work that out.
It's great to be able to come here with problems and have them sorted so quickly.
I will attach a link shortly. It's not much but I would like to try and give something in return :)
