I have Satellite radio and usually listen to that when im working. They have a top 20 station that I typically listen to.

I always seems to have some sort of Goth/Industrial/EBM music going on, though you'd never know it from the site.

I normally just listen to the voices in my head. Sometimes there's music to go along with it, but mostly it's just voices saying things like "Pepperoni or Sausage pizza for lunch?", and "I like marbles. Have we got any marbles around?"

I don't get a lot of work done on those days.

Yeah, I know, I need help. ;-)

I don't do much work "on my site", per se... I just tend to leave it alone, though I'm trying to learn the vBulletin api/plugin development as a hobby.

However, I'm an application developer and trainer, so when I'm working, I've found that classical music or something intricate and instrumental (such as one of those Windham Hill "Sounds of Wood and Steel" CDs - I own some Taylor guitars, love 'em) keeps the brain focused/engaged).

Any music works for me so long as it doesn't require any effort to pay attention to, just background noise... made the terrible mistake of trying to listen to an e-book while coding at least that's what I was supposed to be writing, a ton of mudules for a work type site by hand the other morning, wasted the rest of the day cleaning the disaster I'd made across dozens of files. Time to install CVS on my laptop!
