Ok - a straight enough question... does size matter when it comes down to which style of google ads you have on your site.
Do larger banners pay more per click or do smaller, single ad ones pay more per click...?

Sort of, depending on the KW.
Reason being, the top ad it the one that pays the most, and then on down the list. So the top ad might pay $1 a click - and the 4th might pay $0.50 a click.

I haven't seen a noticable difference in ctr or payout based on the size of any my Adsense ads...and I think I run just abut every format in one site or another.

Im not talking about the size per se, just the number of individual ads. For example, I dont use the 768 wide, I use the 468 wide cause it gives me 2 ads instead of 4 - thus keeping the click rate on those ads high

I changed all my adsense adds to blend in to my site. I even left them marked as sponsored ads, but it has increased click through to a noticable degree for us.
I'm using 460x68 text/banner ads.

Blending the ads so they look like part of the site is usually the best way

That is precisely why I asked Joey. I had noticed that you used the 2 ads banner and not a larger one.
So, does adding additional Google Ad blocks on other pages usually help? and can I include them on the portal page in a CMPS module?

easily included in CMPS
And it goes per page - so I suggest you have blocks of ads on every page

Sure Joey, I am aboe to do that but I was wondering about the Google ToS... do these allow you to have an ad on the portal page.

Portal, yes. They just dont want ads on registration pages or things like that.
