User Titles and Post Count

Do you think it's a good idea to tie User Titles to Post Count as an incentive to post?

For instance:
0-50 = Newbie
51-100 = Member
101+ = Senior Member

Also, does anyone have any ideas on incentives for "User Ranks"?

For instance:

Time [6 months, 12 months, etc.]
Posts [500 posts, 1000 posts, etc.]
Participation [Charter Member, Contributing Editor, etc.]

I would theme the titles with the site.

For reputation i use the following on my site, but it can be used for post count/user titles aswell...

Yeah for staff and a couple of special member groups for that extra incentive to post to attain those magic images :)
