Hello everyone :).
I have been ask to help add some features that got lost in the vB2 to vB3 upgrade back to the site. We had some custom coded stuff, but a new owner took over the site and doesn't know PHP that well and i'm not the best at coding major things like this.
My request is a Music track script. What the script did was allow members to add the names of music artists and their cd's, but never played any music. It would also take the post from our music forum and would add them to the list also. I managed to find an example of our old one from the internet archive ( click here to view it (http://web.archive.org/web/20040201231245/www.cool-teens.com/Music/) ) I hope that gives you a better idea of what i'm talking about.
So this is what we would like it to do.
- Allow members to add new tracks and artist.
- Allow members to pick their favorite artists and it shows up in their profile.
- Be able to pull lastest post from the music forum we have. (example forum id 6)
- Allow admins to be able to edit the name of titles of the tracks added by members.
It would really be great if someone could help me out by making something like this. The Music script was one of the huge hits back when we had vBulletin 2, its what got most people to sign-up. Well thanks for taking time to read this.
