Backing up...

Hi...How often would you need to back up your vBulletin?...and which method is best?

i back up every second day or so through the servers own back up system which i download onto my pc and burn to disk.

Never rely on a hosts backup. What if your board goes down on Wednesday and the last back-up available was Sunday. What happens if the hosts backup is corrupt and you cannot use it? How many posts and new members will you lose? How many people who are members will you upset as well.

Backup everyday and download that backup to YOUR OWN computer. Trust me, you will not be sorry you took a bit of extra time doing so.
