Hi People!

I need your help again...but this time i would like the reason why the vB CMPS is not working.

I followed every step of the installation guide, but when i open the site i get this errors:

Parse error: parse error in /home/httpd/vhosts/cevastyan.com.ar/httpdocs/includes/functions.php on line 2018

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_browser() in /home/httpd/vhosts/cevastyan.com.ar/httpdocs/global.php on line 90

I dont know if i messed it up or if the CMPS zip file that a friend gave me are non working files.

It is possible that the CMPS version i have might not work with the version of vBulleting I'm running?

Thanks a lot!

No - all of the 3.xxx vBulletin versions are all compatible I believe.

GO through and double check the installation - make sure everything has been done exactly as the instructions change. Pay close attention to the parts that modify the includes/functions.php and global.php files.

I see a lot of people getting that error after doing the file edit with Dreamweaver. Redo the file edit with Notepad or Wordpad, and reupload. I bet it takes care of it :)

I got this same error when trying to install ushop/ucash last night... :(

I really like dreamweaver... I'm going to have to give it up.

TRying using Crimson Editor, Notepad and Wordpad aren't good for editing files like these.

Crimson Editor is free and is pretty awesome at doing what it does

I have used Dreamweaver exclusively for all my hacks and have never had an error that wasn't my own fault (read: typo). I sounds like a step was missed as it's looking for a function that wasn't defined in global.php. Check your global.php changes.
