My comments:

I was not sure how I liked the green buttons with the grey, but I think it works well on your site.

I like the modifications you've made, I think it works very well.

I would upgrade your vBulletin as soon as possible, but at this point, you're probably better off waiting for the next major release. I was using 3.0.1 until recently, when I upgraded to 3.0.7.

Maybe...offer a fluid version of the skin, rather than fixed? Have both? I'm not a fan of fixed skins, and don't usually hang around forums that have one, and don't offer a fluid version.

Not really necessary, i got it covered with the 0.6 patch and dont have any of those options enabled that was covered in 0.7., so my board is running just like 3.0.7.

The site is for a game which only have one resolution to choose from (1024x768) so the members are used to limitations. :D
I like fixed width forums, especially my own, because it gives the impression of more content, what would be a one-liner post on a fluid forum width could easily take up two-lines on a fixed width.

And as for hanging around my members only have one other choice, another forum (phpBB) which isnt as good as my offer ;)

So far i only got one comment on changes, and that was the colors not the width.

Thanks for the comments :)

Did you do the template edits too? Those are just as important in the path process in most cases.

I'm not of the school that advice to skip updates should be given out. That is not providing a service to those we support IMO. However that's not to say it's a bad thing to do if done correctly.

I did all changes that the vB devs said would cover it.

Thanks for your concern :)

I'm trying to help, not suggest you don't know. This is just for the next guy that reads this so they don't think uploading a php file is the complete fix.

I realize that I typed that rather poorly. What I said is that we provide a service and that service is to keep your vBulletin right. I don't believe suggesting to wait for the big update and just patch is good advice.

I hope you were not being a smart ass with the "thanks for your concern" remark. Because I'd find it rather odd you came looking for advice and suddenly know it all.

My remark about the templates was not intended to put you down by any means.

Thanks.

Not at all, hence the " :) " smilie.

When did i ask for advice
I'm merely showing off my vB powered website as this is the "Showcase", i said "Please comment", that is to me different from "Asking for advice".

I guess some misunderstanding is involved here...

My mistake, I didn't read back properly. I thought the thread was borne of a question. Forgive me.
