Ok,
I know I have sorta posted this question before, but I want to try and put together a list of basic to putting together a vB based page that is database driven.
Here are my thoughts on this. I want to build a test table that will load some information (not important what) to a page that members will have access to. Then I want to be able to populate the database from the admincp.
Being a newb to vB hacking but not programming, I figure this could be the perfect place to start a round table discussion of how to do things, then I can compile the list, with comments, note and other inportant information.
What do you guys think? Does this sound like a good project for us to jump into? Seeing there are pieces of this everwhere, but not located in one sinlge place with good notes and comments.
Please post your feedback, then I will start asking questions and posting some code for us to look at and test.
