Limiting frequency / number of posts per category

Hi All

Quick question: Is there a way that I can limit the frequency of postings by members within a certain category to a specified rate i.e. one per day / week / month?

I have two classified areas and I want to make the one (which is for sponsors) more appealing by restricting the frequency rate of posts in the other thus hopefully enticing people to sponsor if they want to advertise their services/wears.

Not that im aware of. You can let users read but not be able to post, ut I dont know of anyway to restrict the frequency - there might be a hack though, but I would bet its not based on time.

I have written a Requirements Specification and have asked my fav developer (Colin F) to code this for me.

Progress update when we get started....:)

Update: Here's the brief Requirement sheet I created and the resulting AdminCP look that was created by Colin_F as a result of this. Superb work as ever by Colin. I was amazed at the speed in which he developed this beauty... just 2 hours max!!!!!

So, all paid for and working... just a few rule things to sort and I am green for go :)

EDIT: Cannot upload Excel spreadsheets sorry - which is what I did my requirements in...!!!!

However, I now need to do a few more things before I can run with this;

1 - ammend my rules
2 - post new guidelines for each of my Classified forums

... and I am going to turn that Global On/Off switch very much to on.
