Hi All
Well... I have today launched another vB forum which is www.vBXtra.com (http://www.vBXtra.com) which aims simply to provide an advanced customisation and integration service for vBStyles themes to several vB applicaitons such as vBA CMPS Portal, vBA Gallery, vBA Links Dir, HelpDesk Ticket System and several more to come.
As some of you know, I am also a Customer Advisor / Mod over at vBStyles, and have worked closely with Miko who kindly gave me permisison to develop the advanced integration with his excellent styles.
So... if you're in the market for a great new style for your site you might wish to visit vBStyles, and if you want it further customised to your CMPS beyond what you get out-of-the-box, please pay me a visit.
Not entirely 100% completed, but developed far enough I believe to announce here. I will be adding supporter link sections for vBW and vBStyles of course, but nontheless I would dearly love some additional support from you good folks in getting it off the ground if anyone would care to help. Thanks folks...
Cheers...

Hey there! Looking good! I looked around the site and wasn't able to find anything about prices, which may be intentional but I wasn't sure :). Keep up the great work!

Have to register to see pricing is not going to be popular. Ya may want to let guests see that page. ;)

Ah HA.. that's what I wasn't doing right ;).. *grins*.. I would DEFINITELY allow guests to see.. even if you did something where they could only see prices when they registered.. They have to know its there :).
Keep up the great work!

Yup - I totally agree and hadn't made a decision not to allow guests to see pricing. This was caused by vB not allowing guests/unregistered to see the subscriptions pages... which I thought would be allowed.
I will set up a seperate pricing and products/services page and agree with you 100%.
Does anyone know how I allow guests/unregistered to be able to view subscriptions...??

Admincp>usergroups>forum permissions. From there you can edit each usergroup to see only certian forums. If I understand your question properly.
BTW, nice site you got going there! :)

Holy Cow! I've over looked that for a year now. Dammit! I had no clue. That's a PITA. It should have granular permissions.

Cheers Bassnutz... it's getting there, I have more to do on it, but was good enough to go!
As for forum permissions - this won't work with Subscriptions as they are not a forum and to get access to them one needs access to UserCP which is only available to registered users.
I totally agree with Nopid, there is no need to have the 'viewing permissions' for Subscriptions set as registered. To buy, yes of course, but to view, no.

Ok, here goes...
I have created a new base products page, and am also developing a products.php file which will allow guests and non members to view what would otherwise be held in the subscriptions area, and hence unable to be seen by guests/visitors.
I have also started ammending the look for the forumhome page as I am somewhat bored with the out-of-the-box appearance of those pages on the default install of vB. To start with I have ammended the forumID's that are my Links pages to include an image/logo of the site I am linking to as well as a modified title etc.
Let me know what you think eh!

Sorry to reply to my own thread, not bumping honestly.. but just to let you all know that I have opened the Links Directory to all... no need to register to get your links in there...:)
Go on.. .submit 'em yeah...:)
