How can I make VB default from index.php? to index.php

I don't want my forum homepage to revert to index.php?

I want it to revert back to index.php (no questioon mark on end)

just adjust the links pointing there - such as in the navbar and footer

what about this session crap?

that won't get the links from the top of the threads either....
I rather try and do something forum wide....

guess it's not an easy fix?
